Quality Assurance
TGG uses a systemic process intended to raise standards of work and to make sure everything is done consistently and accurately. Our quality assurance department sees whether a product or service being developed is meeting the specified requirements. Our QA system emphasizes catching defects and errors before they get into the final product.
We believe that a QA system sets out expectations that a quality organisation should meet. We believe that quality assurance will:
- increase customer confidence,
- increase our credibility as a company,
- improve work processes and efficiency, and
- enable us to better compete with others.
We engineer quality into your websites. Our designers and developers follow internationally accepted web standards with detailed attention to your specifications. We test early and test often. Results of testing are then analyzed so that countermeasures are standardized and implemented across the design and development process.
Specifically, TGG’s QA Department performs stringent testing on the output before they are released. The QA Department testing includes:
- Black box testing (testing without knowledge of the internal workings of the item being tested)
- White box testing (where a developer who is familiar with the system test it for functionality)
- Compatibility checks in small and large screens and with large text sizes
- Cross browser and pop-up blockers compatibility checks
- Checking of SEO elements (i.e. tags, title, meta keywords and description, image alt tags)
- Checks to ensure there are no broken page links, external links, image, pdf and file links
- Page remapping (in cases when a new Web site is created to replace an existing site)
- Ensuring all client-specified changes have been correctly made
- Checks to ensure all forms are sending correctly
- Ensuring Google Analytics code is correctly inserted on each page
Project Management
The TGG Project Management System is a planned and organized effort to reach a specific one-time objective. Our PMS includes identifying tasks, knowing how goals will be achieved, quantifying the needed resources, and determining timelines for completion. It also includes managing the implementation of the project plan, along with operating regular controls to ensure that there is accurate and objective information on 'performance' relative to the plan, and the mechanisms to implement recovery actions where necessary.
Our project managers have a good understanding of the project process along with reliable estimating and carefully considered planning. They ensure that the project will deliver a valuable result without surprises. They monitor the anticipated level of benefits and make adjustments to deliver optimum results. Our PMs also actively identify and manage risks, issues, changed requirements, quality standards, plus a host of other side issues.
Network Security
We perfectly understand your concern regarding the security of your projects when you are outsourcing solutions to us.
Our network security system involves the process of preventing and detecting unauthorized access into our computer system. We have prevention measures that helps stop intruders from getting into our network and retrieving sensitive and confidential data, especially those pertaining to clients and projects. These are the measures we have taken:
A Combination of Packet Filtering and Hybrid System Firewall with Crypto-Capable Routers. Packet Filtering is a technique whereby the routers will execute the ACL (Access Control List) enforcing security policy with regard to what sorts of access are allowed. Hybrid System is the combination of application gateways and packet filtering with the integration of Cisco Routers to get a security of the application layer gateways with the flexibility and speed of packet filtering.
Encrypted FTP service with Transport Layer Security (TLS). The TLS protocol allows applications to communicate across a network in a way designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, and message forgery. TLS provides endpoint authentication and communications privacy over the Internet using cryptography. Typically, only the server is authenticated (i.e., its identity is ensured) while the client remains unauthenticated.
FTP is a very insecure protocol because all passwords and all data are transferred in clear text. By using TLS, the whole communication can be encrypted, thus making FTP much more secure.
Centralized Anti-Virus. We have also installed a centralized Antivirus wherein all workstations connected to the network are filtered and scanned remotely by this server. All incoming and outgoing files attached to e-mail or from FTP are scanned and filtered as well. This process ensures that all files coming to and from us are safe and virus-free.
In addition, TGG employees also sign non-disclosure agreements to protect the confidentiality of the outsourcing solutions or projects that we handle.
